Niantic recently ended its Water Festival Event that temporarily increased the spawn rate of select water-type Pokémon creatures. For the impending Easter holiday, avid Pokémon GO gamers are hoping to enjoy a special treat that might potentially include another Shiny Pokémon.
Pokémon GO players have already experienced some of the Niantic’s holiday-themed events. Deployed during Christmas, Halloween and other occasions, gamers were given the chance to nab specific Pokémon characters in the wild or enjoy special boosts. With Easter just around the corner, many fans are anticipating that the gaming company will unleash a similar event to celebrate the holiday.
At this time, Niantic has yet to reveal their plans for Easter, but a source told Slash Gear that one of the game elements that the Pokémon GO game developers may be considering would be increased spawns for the Pokémon Exeggcute. Moreover, the said source hinted that a Shiny variant of the said creature might also be deployed in the wild.
However, the said news site clarified that they have yet to receive confirmation about the said Shiny Pokémon leak. Niantic has also remained quiet about their line-up of Pokémon GO events for the year.
