We am going to show you some of the best games in the Pokémon market that are still played to this day. Lets get right into it.
10. Pokemón Diamond
Pokemon Diamond had a lot of ground to cover from such a great third series. Which they ended up doing pretty well in the fourth generation which was due to such a good story line and a follow up of great starter Pokémon.
9. Pokémon Black
Pokémon Black was another game that had a lot on it’s back, having to make an impression after such an amazing Pokémon series. This game did amazing and came with some good starter Pokemon such as Tepig, Snivy, and Oshawott. The story could have been better though we give it this spot for the amazing Pokémon designs, overall graphics and legendaries in this game.
8. Pokémon Conquest
This game was matched a Yu-Gi-Oh game that used to be one of my favorites, though it was a game of it’s own featuring Japanese armies trying to defeat each other with Pokémon.
7. Pokémon Colosseum
A game where you could actually walk around and challenge gyms, visit shops and help people with their missions with your lovely Umbreon. In the new Orre region, a sinister organization called Team Cipher is capturing Pokémon corrupting their hearts by turning them into Shadow Pokémon and giving them to trainers. It’s up to you to restore balance by seeking out all the corrupted Shadow Pokémon, snag them and restore their spirit. This game is a must play.
6. Pokémon X & Y
This game came along with some great graphics, amazing online features and some cool starter Pokémon to go along with. This game also gave us some trainer customization, a decent story and mega evolution.
5. Pokémon Stadium!
Yeah, to not pick this game? Who wouldn’t .. The game that launched Pokémon Colosseum’s success in a future version on the Game Cube. One of our favorite features was the option to link your GBA to your N64 so you can play your favorite game on the big screen!
4. Pokémon Yellow
From the first Generation, Pokémon Yellow allowed us to have the experience of Pikachu following us around as we battle together and collect badges. This game also allowed us to receive all 3 starter Pokémon along our journey as’well as capturing the Legendary bird Pokémon followed by the famous MissingNo.
3. Pokémon Crystal
Now this version is one of our all time favorite games period, with the option to catch all 3 Legendary beasts. Including Ho-oh and Lugia and Celebi. This game was an amazing sequel to the first generation as it was highly anticipated, the game featured the option to go to both Kanto and Johto regions to battle gyms and catch Pokémon. This game did not only have the amazing option of 3 starter Pokémon Cyndaquil, Chikorita or Totodile, it also included 2 new Eevee evolution’s, Espeon and Umbreon. Many people to this day still play this game as we speak.
2. Pokémon FireRed
In FireRed you start off with our favorite 3 Starter Pokémon Charmander, Squirtle and Bulbasaur as you explore the Kanto region. You relive the Red Version with better graphics and some new scenes, stronger trainers to battle and of course our favorite Elite 4. The best part about this remake was the part at the end where you can do a sub quest to unlock the ability to trade your Pokemon to Emerald, Ruby or Sapphire. While also unlocking the 3 Legendary Beasts from the Johto Region.
1. Pokémon Emerald
For the first time you experience weather effects and you can now dive in the ocean and explore below. Not to mention you get the option to catch Rayquaza, Latios, and Latias. Our favorite aspect of this game was the option to choose which team you wanted to help out later picking which Legendary Pokémon you wanted to catch (Kyougre and Groudon) and let us tell you, this story is too good to miss it out.
